The function of the ECU electronic control unit is to calculate, process and infer the information entered by the air flow meter and various sensors according to its storage program and data, and then send instructions to supply a certain width of electrical pulse signal to the fuel injector to control the fuel injection quantity. ECU usually has fault self diagnosis and protection functions.
